TERMS & CONDITIONS

Minimum Stays and Surcharges: A minimum 5-night stay applies to the 1 and 2-bedroom properties, and a minimum 7-night stay applies to the 3-bedroom properties. During special events and holidays, a minimum 7-night stay applies to all properties and there is a surcharge of $50 per night.

Booking Policy: Payment is by credit card only (Visa and Mastercard). 20% non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking. Please be sure of your dates before making your booking. Once the deposit is paid, the booking is confirmed, and you are deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions, including our Cancellation Policy.

Check in/Check out: Check in is from 2pm onwards. Checkout is prior to 10am.

Children/Infants: Children and infants are welcome. A port-a-cot and highchair are available on request, at no extra charge (You are required to bring your own cot bedding).

Telephone: There is a direct-dial telephone at each property. At the end of the stay, you will be billed for any calls made during your stay. This will be charged to your credit card.

Smoking/Pets: Smoking is not permitted inside our properties. We regret that we cannot accept pets.

 

Conditions of Stay: Guests are required to enter and exit the property quietly. The noise level must be inaudible from adjoining properties between 10pm and 8am Sun-Thu, and between 11pm and 9am Fri-Sat. Outside areas and/or common areas are not to be used between 10pm and 8am.

All guests are expected to behave in a manner that does not cause distress to our neighbours or interfere in any way with their right to enjoy their properties.

Parties/gatherings are not permitted on the premises. Only those guests named on the Booking Confirmation Form may be on or near the premises between 10pm and 8am. Valid forms of photo ID are required as proof of identity, and must be produced on request from any BayStays Melbourne personnel. A maximum of 2 visitors may be on/near the premises at any one time, and visitors must leave by 10pm at the latest.

We reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately and to remove guests who breach any of the above conditions. In these cases, no refund will be due, and we will not be responsible for finding or funding alternate accommodation, nor will we be responsible for any other associated costs.

Cancellation Policy: Please read carefully. We recommend that you have travel or other insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation.

  • Payment in full is due 14 days prior to the stay commencing.
  • This will be charged to the credit card used for the deposit.
  • If booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the stay commencing, only the 20% deposit is forfeited.
  • If booking is cancelled 14 days or less prior to the stay commencing, the full amount will be forfeited, and there will be no refund.
  • If booking is moved to another date, then it is deemed to have been cancelled, and the above rates apply.
  • For cancellation purposes, the stay is deemed to commence at 2pm on the first booked day.
